Magpie Fields confidently uses PayPal to process transactions, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours, using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or login to the PayPal site, our server checks that you’re using an approved browser – one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or transfer from PayPal account as payment through PayPal checkout.
We are required to collect 8.25%, Texas sales tax on orders shipped to addresses within the state of Texas.

Most of our fine goods are vintage, and you will be quite pleased to find special quirks and unique characteristics that have developed through time. We have described each piece as clearly as possible through photography and copy. We guarantee that our vintage collection consists of pieces that are structurally sound and also completely re-wired – that’s right, even re-wired.
Orders are shipped via UPS or USPS, and are usually processed and sent to the carrier within 2 to 4 business days. Orders shipped to a P.O. Box address can only be sent via USPS priority mail, and cannot be expedited. Also, orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico cannot be expedited.
It’s our joy to ship to those in far away places! Please contact us for a shipping quote. Magpie Fields is required to mark all international packages as merchandise, and cannot be marked otherwise to avoid custom taxes and fees. The customer is responsible for all custom and duty fees, in addition to, shipping costs.
As soon as an order is given to the shipping carrier, Magpie Fields is no longer liable. Therefore, Magpie Fields is not responsible for any delays by the shipping carrier, damages during transit, international customs issues, or lost packages.
Claims on shipped items must be made within 48 hours of package arrival. If your item arrives damaged, please notify us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org with photographs of the damage. Photographs of the damaged item are used for the claims process. Please do not discard any packaging materials, so we will be able to show proper packaging to the carrier. We will work with you to obtain a refund on your purchase.
If your order has already been shipped via USPS, we will have to wait until there is an attempted delivery. When the order is returned to us, we will then be able to change the shipping address and an additional shipping charge will incur. If your order has already been shipped via UPS, we will ask the carrier to reroute and an additional shipping charge will incur.
We understand in styling and design, it is necessary to try different colors, heights, textures, etc. With this in mind we have described items as clearly as possible through photography and copy. We welcome all questions prior to purchase, email@example.com. We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If, for some reason, you have second thoughts, send us your order in its original unused condition within 14 days of receipt. All sale items and international orders are not eligible for return or exchange and are final sales. Please make sure the items are securely packed and insured for the full amount. Once we receive your returned item in the condition it was originally shipped, we will issue the customer a full refund or exchange. Be sure to pack well, if the item is damaged in return transit, and the insurance claim is denied due to poor packing, there is nothing we can do. Also, keep in mind that insurance claims take up to 30 days to process- yikes! Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. Please note, if you wish to cancel your order, you will have to follow our return policy.
